Installing and using the Multi timeframe RSI indicator

Installing and using the Multi timeframe RSI indicator

One of our clients have recommended a multi-timeframe RSI indicator which can be used for the Barry Thornton RSI Multi timeframe RSI system.

Please view this video for details on how to download and use this indicator.

The DOWNLOAD link for THE MULTI TIMEFRAME RSI INDICATOR is

THE MULTI TIMEFRAME RSI INDICATOR

Description:

This indicator displays multi timeframe RSI for a symbol in a single separate indicator window.

Very easy to read and very easy to adapt for other oscillators (eg MACD,ATR, CCI etc) or line studies (eg multiple currency strength).

User Inputs:

  • RSI Period;
  • Price to apply to (eg open, close, median etc);
  • Timeframes to display – display as many different time frames as you want! M1, D1, H4, M30 – anything!;
  • Number of bars displayed per timeframe (I find around 15 to be best but choice is yours);
  • Shift the graph to the hard right, despite of main chart shift setting;
  • Display the current period first;
  • Text color;
  • Seperator color (between timeframes);
  • Line colour;
  • Line width.

    G’day Alex and everyone

    Glad you liked my indicator and thanks very much for featuring it in your video.

    If anyone has suggestions for extra features they’d like to see such as alerts when crossing oversold/overbought etc, please feel free to drop me a line and I’ll look at including them in future updates (the indicator will always remain free).

    Oh, and if you find it useful, I’d really appreciate it if you could take a few seconds to give it a rating on the download page. That helps other users find useful indicators quickly.

    Cheers
    Stu Browne (aka Filter)

    Alex you do know that if you loaded just one chart, put the template on that you wanted, then save the template as Default. Then when you opened all those currency pairs it automatically loads the default template with the same time settings, saves you a lot of time…

    That is interesting – will give it a try. Sounds like you can only have 1 default template but that will help

    Have another look. Look for something that say “Click here” – that is always a good clue
