The problem
This is a real major epidemic Forex problem – even with so called experienced traders.
Have you often wondered why your EA does not produce great results even when you are using exactly the settings in a set file provided by the supplier or a fellow trader? And yet other traders and monitoring accounts are producing great results.
The only explanation is that the EA is a complete scam – isn’t it? Must be.
We the truth is that these default settings are dangerously toxic to your financial health. They should not even be used for back testing.
So why are set files and default settings given. You need to understand that set files or default setting are never meant to be traded. They are merely starting points to help you calibrated and optimise the EA to your particular broker account that you will be using to trade the EA.
Be realistic: how can ONE set file work for every currency, time zone, broker, broker account, time frame, trading period etc. You must be smoking something very strong or be on very bad medication to believe that.

In the end you also need to understand very clearly that what worked in the past in not guaranteed to work in the future. Good EA traders know exactly that, and they never use optimized settings. They use the test results to find low risk, robust settings that have a very high probability of success in certain market conditions.
